From the artist: "This series focuses on various objects that appear to be wrapped in knotted cloths. The form of the 'draped' textile clearly suggests its unseen contents. However, as each work is created from clay, obviously, the interior of the package can never be seen. As an artist, I am interested in the tension created between the mystery of what is hidden inside and the certainty of the exterior wrapping cloth."
