Ms. Mirviss was formerly a private dealer. Designed by the architectural firm Hut Sachs Studio, the gallery is imbued with Ms. Mirviss's affinity for nature and captures the Japanese art aesthetic on view at the 1,500-square-foot space. The gallery also makes use of sustainable materials such as anodized steel, barn wood, glass, terra-cotta, and recycled plank pine.
