Ceramics by The Japan Ceramic Society Award Winners will be held at Ginza WAKO Exhibition Hall, Tokyo from February 6 to 16.
This exhibition showcases the works by 50 artists who have received an award by the Japan Ceramic Society in the past, including the winners of 2018, Ogawa Machiko and Uchida Kōichi.
The Japan Ceramic Society awards the Japan Ceramic Society Prize to artists who have achieved outstanding work, and the Japan Ceramic Society Gold Prize to artists who have left a profound mark on the world of ceramic art.
The other exhibited artists include Akiyama Yo, Ichino Masahiko, Ito Hidehito, Kakurezaki Ryuichi, Kato Tsubasa, Kawase Shinobu, Kiyomizu Rokubei, Koike Shōko, Sugiura Yasuyoshi, Suzuki Osamu, Suzuki Gorō, Suzuki Sansei, Suzuki Tetsu, Takiguchi Kazuo, Takegoshi Jun, Tajima Etsuko, Tsuboi Asuka, Hara Kiyoshi, Harada Shūroku, Maeda Masahiro, Miwa Kyūsetsu, Morino Taimei, Yagi Akira, Yanagihara Mutsuo.
